This photo was taken by one of my friends when I was still in elementary school. At that summer, I was so lucky that I was invited to my friend's hometown, and I remembered that I spent my whole summer holiday over there. My friend's hometown was called Maqi, Which was a small town in Guangxi province. When I were in there,I have a totally different scene with where I have lived for these years. There are not much traffic, any pollution and crowd right there, what it had right there were silent and relaxing there. I stayed there with my friend at least two hours per day I was there.
The landscape was a portion of a uphill path which crossed a small forest, and this photo was taken at there. This hill wasn't very high, and it located exactly at the back side of my friend's countryside, and we were going to the top of the hill, and wanted to stand right there, looked the whole view of my friend's countryside. However, his countryside wasn't quite beautiful because it was still developing at that moment; lots of houses were built and lots of roads were expanded as well, and I thought I preferred this path than anywhere else in this town. The reason why it became the unforgettable place was that it was the most silent and natural place I have stayed before, when I was there. I seemed to be able to connect my spirit with nature, that sense was just like I was breathing fresh air in wilderness or lying at a sofa and listening the music simultaneously. How relax was that, and that was a feeling I alway like, and I think that most people like that feeling as well.
It is a nice picture what you post. You are right. In the country, people can smell the freshness of nature, and it make people feel relax. Thus,we must preserve our natural resources.
