A
love for life is written by Penny Hancock. The book is talking
about Fanella, a woman who wants to get a child in her life. Fanella broke up
with her boyfriend in the beginning of the book because her boyfriend cheated
on her and found a younger girl in another city. After Fanella broke up with her
boyfriend, she adopted a five-year-old girl, Ellie. Before Fanella adopted
Ellie, She met Rod at pre-school. This man affected Fanella a lot in her life.
Also, those two people had many challenges when they met. However, Fanella and
Rod have a same problem that is they also want to have a their own child. Yet
the story doesn't have a happy ending easily, we know they love each other.
I wouldn’t like to say A love of life
is a great book or not because I confused at some parts about the story in the
book. Anyway, if I were Fanella, I think the story is more different since I
don’t have a strong feeling to get a child. In other hand, Fanella’s boyfriend broke
up with Fanella that the main point is her boyfriend doesn’t want to get a baby
with Fanella at that moment. Steven, Fanella’s ex-boyfriend, he is very different
with Rod even the author didn’t say a lot about Steven. Rod is a pre-school teacher,
and he knows how to work with children, and teach children in a positive way. I
thought Fanella like this type of men because she also loves children so much. Actually,
I like this book because I also enjoy working with children, and I know
children as like the angel in the world. If you also like children, you will
like to read this book, A Love for Life.
