The Best Memories

I've always wanted to explore anywhere in the world so that i could share my experience back home in the Philippines. But, if there's s a place where I am eager to visit, it would be this house. This is our house in Don Pedro Malasiqui Pangasinan in the Philippines. This is a place that will always be unforgetable to me because my all the good memories that happened to me took place in this place. My Grandparents grew up in this house and inhereted the house to my parents. My parents raised me and my brother's and sister here. If I were given a chance to go back in this house, I'd like to stay here more than a month because I know when I get there, I will remember my childhood living the normal life. Our life living in the Philippines before weren't that easy, but even though life was hard, me and my family still survived every single day and all of that happened here. If you can see, behind those trees, there's a humble hut where I used to play cards with my friends. Our terrace also hides behind those tress on the right side and I still remember staying there late at night to look for shooting stars. Even now and then, this house will always be in my memory because my life started here and I will never forget that for the rest of my life.

  1. Congratulations Kenneth Torio you have an awesome place! I can see that your grandparents and parents worked hard to built and maintained this house beautifully even though life was hard that time. Definitely, this house is unforgettable to you because that's where you were born and spent your childhood. I can't imagine how much fun you had there, that now are memories to you. I encourage you to visit it, when you get the opportunity so!

  2. it is a very good place, as you say, family is the most important factor for most people, however, I prefer the more silent place, not many people here, not many traffic, just like suburb, and I can stay with my family there, it is perfect for me.

  3. I love pictures of childhood homes. My grandmother's side of my family is also from Pangisinan. We traveled to Alcala in 2000 - it was my first time there!
