I took this picture last year, when I was visiting, for the forth time, Puerto Vallarta- Mexico. The city used to be considering sleepy fishing village unknown to most travelers when it was “discovered” in 1963 by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.  Burton had given Taylor a house there, which can still be seen and remains a tourist attraction.   Since that time the PV has grown phenomenally and attracts tourists from all over the planet, and in particular has become a major gay mecca. Locals give a very warm welcome to our crowd.

In the picture bellow you can see a fantastic view of the Playa los Muertos, (beach of dead) located in the “zona romantica”, the best area of the town and the River Cafe _ a restaurant lacerated in a little island, in the town.

There you can stay on the beach, getting tan and be served by waiter of the Ritmos Beach Cafe (Green Chairs).

The most charming restaurant in town is the River Café. Oh my Good, I love the food and the scenario, which is so romantic.

The best time to visit PV is between late of November and April. However, to me best period is December. While the weather in the Unites States is cold and wet, in Puerto Vallarta is colorful and bright.
