It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, the Great Wall of China is the world’s
largest historical site and largest building projects undertaken in human history. The Great Wall of
China is made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, originally built to keep
invading Mongols from entering China. It is the wall built between 220–206 BC by the first emperor
of China and the full length of the Great Wall is 5500 miles long.
I have been to the Great Wall with my family on a summer vacation when I was 6 years old.
That was my first trip to the Great Wall and I was very excited. I love this building and it is
imposing. I have many memories in the Great Wall, but the one thing that make me unforgettable
this place is I didn't walk to the end of the Great Wall.These is a stele in the end of the Great Wall
"you are not a hero without climbing the great wall" but my family and I didn't even finish half the
distance 5500 miles is too long for me in that time. I hope one day I can travel to the Great Wall one
more time and finish my full distance.
oh, i don't think you can walk the full distance of the Great Wall because some parts of the Great Wall has already destroyed. The part in Beijing is very small part in the whole Great Wall and i think it have been fixed many times. if you want to walking the full distance, I think you need to go trough half of the China. Good luck to you trip if you really want to do it. hahaha.:)
ReplyDeleteIt's almost impossible to walk full distance! the great wall is very very long , I have walked only three towers of it when I was 14 years old, the result that I vomited. it look not very long , but height and length of the Great Wall can let everybody feel more tired.
