I Love For Life by Penny Hancock

This book shows us how bravely on woman named Fanella is, in order to find happiness in her life she faced many things. She is not able to have children so her and her partner decided to adopt, by the time she is able to adopt, she find herself alone. Fanella faced many challenge raising this child after her partner leaves her. through out the book Fanella meet a guy named Rob and he helped her to see life differently. Would they fall in love?

I recommend this book to ESL students, because it is easy to understand, vocabulary from which we can learn new words. While I was reading this book I find myself bored, it did not motivate me to keep reading because it was very predictable, however my favorite character was Fanella, because she is a lovely woman and knows what she wants, even if the future looks dark she manage to look the light (the darker the night is, the brighter the morning). According to James Marcia who is a developmental psychologist, carefully define the types of identity formation into four modes, one of them being a Moratorium status which defines a person who is in the midst of an ongoing identity crisis or decision making period. If you find yourself in this middle crisis and do not know where to go or what to do, this book can help you to find yourself and look at life in a different positive way of view.
