My book is This Time It's Personal, the author is Alan Battersby. This book is a thriller since there is a lot of suspens until the end the reader wants to know the truth. Different misterious murders happened...

 

The action takes place in New York, and the main character is Nathan Marley, a private investigator. But there are other main characters; at the beginning of the book his assistant, Stella Delgado is very upset and worried because her young brother, José, has been arrested and is accused of murder. The story is about how Stella and Nathan are going to do all they can to try to find proof that José is not guilty even if all the evidences are here to accuse him. At the same time strange events are happening in the city since dead bodies are found on a beach, and they seem to be relied to the russian community. So there are a lot of things that are unclear and the reader really wants to know the truth, if José is the real killer or not and what is the story of the death bodies. Stella and Nathan are during all the book very brave and they never give up even if sometimes it's very discouraging because nobody wants to tell them the truth.

 

In this book there is a lot of action since they are investigators, and a lot of events are happening, and until the end you are always surprised. The book is beautifully written and very exciting because there are a lot of questions whom we don't have the answer until the very last pages of the book! The end actually really surprise me! I really liked the novel because the story is taking place in a wonderful city, is very realistic and the characters are very entousiastic. So I will definately recommend this book to everyone because it is very entertaining!
